Worship

Meaningful Collective Worship is a priority at Mawdesley St. Peter’s. Starting the day in God’s presence is essential and enables us all to be the best we can be and use the day to glorify His Name.  Collective worship is held daily in school, when the children are encouraged to participate and share their feelings and opinions. All worship is whole-school based. A member of St. Peter’s Church makes weekly visits to school to contribute to collective worship. Our school has a very special connection with Mawdesley St Peter’s Church. There are also regular visits from the Methodist Minister, and occasionally from representatives of charitable organisations. The children make visits to St. Peter’s Church and Mawdesley Methodist Church contributing to special services. Parents may withdraw their children from the worship in school. Our Children plan and lead the worship once every half term.
