What Our Parents Say
"My child is looked after like one of their own at MSP… a small school setting which is able to achieve this…and to me as a parent is one of the most comforting things I could wish for." Parent of a Year 1 pupil.
"I love how the school has developed strong links with the community - for example partnering with the Tennis coach at Mawdesley Tennis club.” Parent of Year 6 & Year 3 pupils.
"Walking across the fields to our annual whole school trip to Rock and River." Parent of Year 6 & Year 3 pupils.
"Gathering our school family together with the community at the Christingle Service at St Peter’s Church." Parent of Year 6 & Year 3 pupils.
"We chose MSP for the following reasons:
Nice size classes - max 15, so not too big nor too small. We didn’t choose other local schools as class sizes were so small and we wanted our children to be able to mix and choose friendship groups.
Parking - ease of parking! Our second choice was a school where parking was a nightmare!
Convenience - close to home so not too far to travel.
The general feel of the school when we looked around was warm and familiar, we felt our children would feel comfortable in the building and with the staff.
Thankfully it has lived up to all the above expectations and more. We have always found the school very approachable and helpful in any situation." Parent of a Year 6 pupil.
"It's very easy to talk to the teachers. They're very approachable and helpful." Parent of a Year 3 pupil.
"The first thing that comes to mind about MSP is the time that is given to parents on an individual basis. Not sure how best to word this but an example is when my child was struggling, I went in a few times with no appointment and the headteacher could be due to start teaching or due to start an assembly but she would find someone to cover her so that she could be available to help me during a difficult time. There was never a restriction on her time and she always did everything within her power to help both me and my child. You wouldn't find this in other schools."
