Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Forest School is such an important part of life at Mawdesley St Peter’s!
And why wouldn’t it be — we’re so fortunate to have a trained Forest School Leader as our Reception Teacher. We’re also incredibly lucky to have our own woodland area, the moss, and other wonderful natural spaces right on our doorstep to explore and enjoy.

It’s not just our Reception class who experience Forest School, either. Each class takes part in two blocks of approximately six weeks throughout the year, giving every child the chance to enjoy outdoor learning in different seasons. 🌿🍂❄️🌸
